LIBERTY & LEARNING
Philip Bigler’s most recent book is entitled Liberty & Learning: The Essential James Madison.  The book attempts to answer the evocative question: “Does Madison Matter?” It is written for a popular audience and is designed for classroom use with high school and college students. The James Madison Center is currently developing a series of lesson plans to accompany the text and these will be available on the Center’s website at James Madison University.  All proceeds from the sales of Liberty & Learning go to support the Donald Robertson Scholarship in Elementary Education which is awarded annually.
